As a kid, I saw Halloween as a great opportunity for creativity. I always wanted to dress up as obscure things: a s'more, a furby, a flamingo, a toothbrush. These were pretty oddball, but my most bizarre endeavor had to be a "ball dancer."

That's right. I was a six year old in a leotard carrying around a dodgeball declaring myself a "ball dancer" all night.

Whether scary or just plain weird —” Halloween is a time to let your freak flag fly...and eat a couple pounds of chocolate without feeling bad about it.

Be safe trick-or-treating and have a spook-tacular Halloween!
