Why Story Camp is the best presentation skills conference for our clients
Story Camp 2026 tickets are live
We are GhostRanch—a nationally recognized, ultra-niche presentation agency that works with GTM leaders across the fortune 500. Our clients consist of heads of communication, product marketers, CMOs, c-suite, sales enablers, sales leaders. Basically, people who have important stories to tell, and understand that slideware (love it or hate it) is the lowest common denomenator vessel through which much of their strategy needs to travel.
In short, we live and breathe presentations all day, every day. And we love it.
We also love our clients, because they think like we do. Clients who choose GhostRanch as their partner in Presentation Excellence are the ones who understand the value of trust, connection, and clarity when it comes to human-to-human communication. These are GTM leaders who understand that slides aren't merely a box to check or something to reformat or "make pretty"— but that an intentional presentation discipline becomes a strategic edge in a business environment more focused on shortcuts and automation than how we show up to share our stories.
For these reasons, we are firm believers that—while there are a select few presentation skills development conferences and workshops out there on the market today (and we have been to many and love so many of them as the PPT nerds that we are)—without a DOUBT, the one we know was designed for our clients is Story Camp.
“Story camp = the best 3 professional days ever! ”
— Mary Sheehan, Group Product Marketing Manager, Adobe
“#lifechanging”
— Jennifer Mattocks, SVP Strategic Client Partnerships, Cielo Talent
“A very well-spent workshop”
— Mariana Leventis, VP Corporate Communications, RingCentral
The reason we believe Story Camp is the best presentation skills conference for marketing leaders, heads of brand, heads of product marketing, sales enablement leaders, VPs of corporate Comms, corporate event leaders, sales leaders, and C-suiters alike is because the approach isn't about elevating one individual speaker's abilities... but rather to teach skills that these leaders can take back to raise their entire company's presentation and storytelling game.
Story Camp becomes a bit of a "teach the teacher" type of motion—where a VPs of Corporate Communication can trade notes with Heads of Product Marketing or Brand, where they can all take notes from speech writers, speaker coaches, visual design experts, to ensure they've got a comprehensive and 360° understanding around what separates most presentations from the truly top tier ones.
The Story Camp POV:
Story Camp is decidedly in-person: We get why most conferences have pivoted to hybrid or even fully virtual. It's super profitable. But the fact is we're a bit fried on virtual meetings. After 6-8 hours of Zoom meetings every day, it's a tough sell to try to sit through a webinar, let alone an entire virtual conference. And let's be real, I'm 0% on actually watching webinar replays. Story Camp is a "you had to be there" type of experience. For our 2026 event, our homebase at the Colorado Chautauqua is nestled right up under Boulder's Flat Irons, in a super cute, historic, gorgeous setting. So, not only will we be able to rock "trust falls" in amazing company, but we can take advantage of our surroundings by hitting the trails, or just breathing in some of that fresh mountain air between sessions. Sometimes you gotta scratch your own itch, and Story Camp's in-person offering affords me things I can't get from yet another virtual conference from back at my desk in Indiana.
Story Camp is intentionally small: "Intimate" sounds weird, but hear me out, Story Camp is intimate. The first Story Camp in park City was capped at 50 campers, and the unanimous event feedback shouted at us: "KEEP IT SMALL!!" Like, "No matter what you do, please keep it small!" Story Campers LOVED the fact that they could meet every one of their fellow campers. It wasn't overwhelming, it was a cohort size that felt right, gelled quickly, and Boulder we are cutting things off at 75. Unanimous feedback? Story Camp is very much a quality > quantity type of ethos, and what comes of 3 nights and two day immersive experience is that Campers get to genuinely meet and know their peers in attendance.
Programming designed around Story, Screen, and Stage: What you say, what you show, and how you show up. Three legs of the same important stool. Story Campers will be exposed to each via our holistic approach to ensure they're on the path toward presentation excellence. And they won't just be learning theory, but also have chances to practice, because nothing instills the lessons quite like taking a stab at things yourself.
Story Camp doesn't try to bite off too much, and seeks to design the right amount of content and programming, mixed with chances to take advantage of your beautiful surroundings and epic company. This year, our attendees will learn from Will Storr (Science of Storytelling), Benjamin Benichou (Masters of AI), and Montana von Fliss (How to be confident, even if you're not TEDx'er). We also have panels and workshops lined up from industry peers who will blow your mind. And of course, we love a good party or two, the food and drink will be on point.
Story Camp Boulder 2026 tickets are on sale. We truly believe it's one of the best in-person L&D experiences for communicators looking to raise the bar for themselves and their company. And it also makes for a "done for you offsite" for any CMOs or VPs looking for a turnkey offsite with benefits.
The only thing missing... is you!
